Top 5 Social Apps on Android in Serbia Q2 2021

During the second quarter of 2021, the top social apps on the Android platform in Serbia demonstrated varying performance trends in terms of downloads and revenue. Let's take a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower for the leading apps: TikTok, Instagram, Pi Network, TikTok Lite - Save Data, and Facebook Lite.

TikTok, published by TikTok Pte. Ltd., saw substantial fluctuations in its weekly revenue. It peaked at $321 in mid-June and maintained a high of $251 in the last two weeks of June. Download trends showed a general increase, starting from around 6.9K at the end of March and peaking at approximately 8.8K in the third week of June.

Instagram, from Instagram, experienced more modest revenue gains, with notable peaks of $31 in mid-April and $21 towards the end of May. Weekly downloads for Instagram were relatively stable, with a significant rise to 7.7K in the third week of June, ending the quarter at around 6.9K.

Pi Network, published by SocialChain, did not generate revenue but saw a significant decline in weekly downloads. Starting from around 6.3K at the beginning of the quarter, downloads dropped steadily, reaching just under 1K by the end of June.

TikTok Lite - Save Data, also from TikTok Pte. Ltd., did not report any revenue. However, its download numbers showed some volatility. Downloads increased from approximately 2.7K at the end of March, peaking at around 5K in early May, and then fluctuating towards the end of the quarter, ending at about 2.5K.

Facebook Lite, from Meta Platforms, Inc., similarly did not report revenue. It maintained a fairly consistent download rate, starting at around 3.1K at the end of March, peaking at 3.6K in the first week of April, and ending the quarter with approximately 3K downloads.
